This is the first ever LNG project in Hong Kong, its complexity is heightened by its offshore nature. A Ship Simulation Study is carried out by using a Full Mission Bridge Simulation (FMBS), to ensure both its Floating Storage and Re-gasification Unit (FSRU) and LNG Carrier could safely berth to and unberth from the Terminal.
2. Feasibility Study of M.V. Star Pisces berthing to the China Ferry Terminal
To ascertain the feasibility of the M. V. “Star Pisces” (SPC) to berth at the Tsim Sha Tsui China Ferry Terminal (CFT), including whether the structure of CFT would be able to accommodate SPC’s berthing, and if in practicality SPC is able to berth at CFT.
3. Simulation Study for Mega Container ship M.V. “MSC Gulsun” berthing Kwai Tsing Container Basin
To examine feasibility of the arriving Hong Kong of the Ultra Large Container Vessel (ULCV), the M.V. “Gulsun”, carrying capacity of 23,000 TEU, and berthing to the Kwai Tsing Container Terminals.

5. Marine Traffic Impact Assessment (MTIA) for M.V. “Star Pisces” berthing to the China Ferry Terminal
To assess the marine traffic impact, aroused by the proposed passenger ship “Star Pisces” berthing to the China Ferry Terminal, upon marine traffic to/from the Terminal and its nearby areas, if necessary propose mitigation measures.
